DNT Chair, Organising Committee

Associate Professor Peter Mount

Dear Colleagues

On behalf of ANZSN’s Scientific Policy and Quality Committee (PQC), thank you for attending the 2023 Dialysis, Nephrology, and Transplantation (DNT) workshop held in Noosa 26 – 28 March at the Sofitel Hotel, Noosa Heads, Queensland.

The theme for the 2023 DNT Workshop was Optimal and Equitable Kidney Health for All.

The PQC worked hard to put together an exciting DNT program for all ANZSN members, especially those currently in leadership roles, such as Heads of Department, and those serving on ANZSN committees. We also welcomed important contributions from consumers, nursing colleagues, and younger ANZSN members.

The DNT Workshop provided an outstanding opportunity for ANZSN members to contribute to discussion and debate about vital questions of policy and practice facing nephrology in Australia and New Zealand in a face to face interactive format.

Highlights from the 2023 DNT Workshop included presentations and discussions on:

Quality indicators, ANZDATA, and patient reported measures
Workforce and nephrology training update
Improving equity in transplantation
CARI guidelines
Innovations in dialysis
Consumer engagement
Supportive care

Along with our two outstanding co-Chairs for the Local organizing committee, A/Prof Andrea Viecelli and Dr Dev Jegatheesan, thank you for attending the 2023 DNT Workshop, we look forward to seeing you at future DNT Workshops.

The 2023 DNT Workshop is proudly supported by
